Accessibility statement
Updated as of September 1, 2024
Welcome to B-wiser, a platform for managing complex processes at work.
Our goal is to optimize the use of the site and improve our service in regard to accessibility and equal rights for people with disabilities.

Accessibility measures available on the site:
Personalized Accessibility Settings
Customize text scaling, line spacing, and font styles for an optimized reading experience tailored to individual preferences

Effortless Navigation and Orientation
Identify and list all links on the page, reduce distractions with flicker-free modes, and enhance mouse navigation with large cursors

Inclusive Content Consumption
Enable Text-to-Speech with support for over 60 languages, providing a spoken version of web content for users with visual impairments

Visual Indicators
In order to improve the site navigation experience, visitors using a keyboard to navigate our site see a blue rectangle to indicate their location on the page. A blue indicator appears on the element in focus and shifts when pressing the tab button.

Since our site is multilingual, we choose to display the language name only on our language menu, without the flag icons.
We chose to do so in order to avoid having the screen reader redundantly read out the flag’s alt text “English / Hebrew” and then read the text beside it and repeat “English / Hebrew”, which may create ambiguity.
Site's DOM order
Site DOM is the loading and reading order of elements on site pages. B-wiser sets a DOM order based on the visual order of the elements; from left to right (English), and top to bottom, from right to left (Hebrew). The DOM order of the site is important to visitors using screen readers and/or the Tab key, as it allows visitors to navigate the site in a logical order.

Images and Galleries
We made the necessary adjustments and add descriptions to our images and galleries using alt text to make them accessible to our visitors. Alt text ensures that visitors using screen readers can access and understand the content on our site.
Alt text provides information about our media and helps search engines and screen readers "read" them.
In addition, if an image on our site is decorative and is not relevant to the context of our site, we added alt text and marked these images as 'decorative'.
Text and Graphics
We have adjusted the color contrast on our website to make it easier for website visitors to differentiate between the foreground and background of website pages.
Fonts and Readability
We choose clear and legible fonts to allow visitors to easily read the content on our website.
Reducing Motion
We avoid automatically playing media (video, sound) on the site in order to avoid disturbing screen readers.
Accessible Forms
We have made a number of adjustments to improve the accessibility of the forms on our website. These are the steps we took:
-
Displaying field titles to allow visitors to identify each form field.
-
Defining field titles to ensure visitors know what exactly is required (last name, phone number, etc.).
-
Adjusting form's design in order to create a logical visual experience.
-
Adding visual indicators in order to help navigate our forms.

With our customizable settings, users can tailor text scaling, line spacing, and fonts to their unique preferences, ensuring a personalized and comfortable reading environment. Navigate effortlessly with features like link identification, flicker-free modes, and large cursors. Boost accessibility further with Text-to-Speech functionality, supporting over 60 languages, providing an auditory alternative for those with visual impairments. The online dictionary integration powered by Wikipedia enriches user knowledge without leaving the site.

We do as much as possible to make sure that all the displayed pages will be accessible. At the same time, it is possible that there are pages that have not yet been accessed, or that a suitable technological solution has not yet been found for the purpose of accessing them.
